    Afenda manages the certification of key personnel performing non-destructive tests. Certification is performed by Cosac (Comité Sectoriel Aéronautique et Spatial).

    This association comprises GIFAS members, the DGA, the DGAC and CNES.

    Established in January 1980 and based in Toulouse, IAS is the French Aerospace Industry Association (GIFAS) agency for international professional training.

    IAS mission is to design and implement professional training solutions and services dedicated to foreign professionals operating in the aeronautic and space sector, as partners and/or customers of the French industry.

    These training solutions leverage both the know-how of IAS academic partners and the expertise of its industrial lecturers.

    IAS has trained to date and manages a network of more than 3,700 professionals from more than 100 countries, holds a customer portfolio of over 150 leading industry players and implements around 10 training sessions per year.

    In 2017, IAS counted 14 permanent staff and generated a turnover of 3.6 million Euros.

    SIAE is the subsidiary of GIFAS which organises every other year the Paris Air Show. The 53rd edition of the Paris Air Show will take place from June 17 to 23, 2019 at the Bourget Exhibition Center. This show is the largest worldwide event and meeting of the aerospace industry with in 2017, 2,381 exhibitors and 142,000 trade visitors, 180,000 public visitors, 3,450 journalists and 300 official delegations. This event also allows to show to students a panel of careers in the aeronautic and space field through the "Career Plane" organized by the  Social Affairs and Training Department. It was also an opportunity to highlignt th innovation by the exhibition "Paris Air Lab" organized by the R&T, Space and Environment Department. These two events have each welcome almost 55,000 visitors.
